Hyundai Air and Sea Show Returns to Miami Beach

The Hyundai Air and Sea Show is set to make a spectacular return to Miami Beach this Memorial Day Weekend, May 27–28, 2023. Executive produced by Mickey Markoff, the event will once again showcase the best in military aviation and marine displays, delighting spectators and reigniting a sense of unity among the community.

The Hyundai Air and Sea Show, a beloved tradition in South Florida, has a rich history of entertaining audiences with jaw-dropping aerial acrobatics, thrilling water stunts, and engaging demonstrations by top military performers. Since its inception in 1997, the Air and Sea Show has been a mainstay of South Florida culture every year during Memorial Day Weekend, as a means of paying tribute to our nation’s heroes and the true spirit of the day. Even during the pandemic, when the event postponed due to restrictions, the event pivoted to pay tribute to more of our nation’s heroes, the first responders, healthcare workers, and local heroes in the community. Executive Producer Mickey Markoff has been instrumental in the show’s success, leveraging his extensive experience in event production and marketing to create an unforgettable experience for all attendees.

This year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever, with an impressive lineup of participants from around the world. Spectators can look forward to witnessing the astonishing skill and precision of military teams such as the US Navy Blue Angels and the US Air Force Thunderbirds. In addition, the show will feature aerobatic performers, ensuring a diverse and dynamic display of aerial prowess.

A new lineup for the 2023 Hyundai Air and Sea Show includes The U.S. Army SaluteFest™! SaluteFest will take place on Saturday, May 27th. The U.S. Army will showcase their top technology and personnel, featuring musical acts, the largest military Air & Sea Show®, an interactive display village, spectacular drone show, fireworks extravaganza and more!

2023’s Hyundai Air and Sea Show also features the Veterans Florida Fireworks Extravaganza which will be held on Sunday, May 28. Veterans Florida is an exciting new addition to the lineup, as they do incredible work in the nonprofit space to help Florida veterans who have bravely served their nation. Veterans Florida was created by the State of Florida to aid veterans with their transition to civilian life. The organization also provides a myriad of services to these heroes, helping them with career services and other important resources.

The Music Explosion presented by Hyundai will be back again on the big stage. The LiquorSplit Beach Club will transform for the event, making way for country music stars “Big and Rich”.

The Hyundai Air and Sea Show also pays tribute to the courageous men and women who serve in the US Armed Forces. With a strong focus on honoring their service and sacrifice, the event will include special demonstrations by military units, as well as opportunities for attendees to meet and interact with service members.

Miami’s Lummus Park provides the perfect backdrop for the event, with its beautiful coastline and vibrant atmosphere. Visitors and locals alike will have the chance to enjoy not only the thrilling performances but also the numerous food vendors, exhibitors, and interactive displays that will line the beach.
