In 1995, Mickey Markoff brought the Air and Sea Show to Miami, Florida. The show was an instant success, attracting more than a million spectators in its first year. The Air and Sea Show has since become a major event on the city’s calendar, featuring displays from the United States Navy, the United States Air Force, and a showcase of innovative technologies from all branches of the United States armed forces.

Over the years, the event has grown to have a life of its own. It has been enriched by the vibrancy of the local community, as well as the myriad of different nonprofits, sponsors, and military education on display.
